micro tweaks

I willingly sign up to get murdered every Friday (not to be confused with getting murdered on the show The Traitors, my other current obsession).

It's the hardest class my pole studio offers - level 2/3 Drop-In Murder.

Frankly, most days I have no business being in there with legit athletes, but as they say, surround yourself with people who are where you want to be.

I'm over the moon if I achieve any part of that day's trick as I watch others skillfully land Cirque du Soleil level maneuvers.

Sometimes just being around people doing the thing is all you need to get the know-how to figure it out for yourself.

Like when my SEO friend Meg wrote this week about making micro tweaks to her contact page that significantly increased her conversion rate.

Spending 20 minutes reformatting a contact page to get a huge lift on legit inquiries? Sign me up. As Meg says, "The thing with traffic, it only matters when it converts into real, paying customers."

Getting tactical advice like this means getting in the room with people who know what they're doing.

Which is why I'll be tuning in next week for another one of my smart friend's Emilia Farrace and her virtual event The Money Making Website Summit.*

Whether you’re just starting your site or you’ve been at this for years, you’ll walk away with practical strategies to make your website work harder for you — so it’s bringing in leads, sales, and opportunities even when you’re off the clock.

You’ll learn from 20+ website pros - including myself - who actually do this stuff every day — real tactics that work, not just theory.

Best part? It’s free to attend live* (and if you want lifetime access, there’s a super affordable All-Access Pass option).

you've got this,
Michelle

I never thought I'd be obsessed with guinea pigs, but well, here we are. In an effort to cheer up my nightly doomscrolling my husband sent me this reel and I'm officially hooked. Who knew it would be this brain soothing to watch animals nibble veggies for hours on end? Franky, I think the term guinea pig gets a bad rap - and I'm looking for a few to help me out. This week I've been speaking to groups all about getting more (quality) leads from repeatable activities - like connecting ManyChat...

I couldn't help but overhear my nephew's zoom interview yesterday. He's applying to be a social media intern for some random out-of-state company found through his college career center. As soon I heard a voice say "when can you start?" I pulled up the owner's LinkedIn account to verify that it was an actual business. I *may* have also searched for any lurking court records - Aunt Michelle gets a bit protective over her flock.Duly satisfied that it was a legit biz, I checked what the company...

These days, my college roommate Justin and I communicate mainly through inappropriate memes we dm each other. I'll probably get cancelled if those ever get out. He's one of my dearest friends - even though he used to hide the good cookies on the top shelf in our kitchen. He's 6'7" and I'm pocket-sized. Joke's on him though - I've always been able to climb kitchen cabinets. Short girl solutions.Back in college we'd spend most of our nights in the computer lab making fake websites and teaching...
